Eoin Morgan: I think more positives to take out from the game today. We took a lot of positives from the last game against Pakistan too. We knew we needed to improve in order to win against Bangladesh and we were outstanding with the bat. The two boys at the top (openers) laid a solid platform as Jason (Roy) managed to get a significant score. It's great to see. He's very intimidating to play against and the impact he has against oppositions is significant. With Jos Buttler coming in and Chris Woakes, Liam Plunkett - all of them contributed. I think majority of the teams will open with spin against us as it worked in the first game. There's something always that sides will throw at us. Whether it's spin, swing, whatever - we are prepared. With Archer, Wood, Woakes, Stokes in the bowling, it's outstanding. They're wonderful to captain and today was no different. It's an area to work on, it was an improved performance in the field today. No serious concern with Jos (Buttler) at the moment. He didn't keep as a precautionary measure and will be monitored in the next 48 hours.

Mashrafe Mortaza: 386 is too many, credit goes to their batsmen. It's very difficult to get him (Roy) once he gets set. We knew we had to get Roy out, only then we could have come back in the match. The pitch was under cover for one and a half days, so it was a straight decision to bowl first. We need luck sometimes to get those wickets. 330 could have been a different chase but as I said this score was too much. Shakib is batting so well for us at number 3. His bowling also has been fantastic. Still six matches to go and hopefully others step up in those games. Very important matches coming up.

Jason Roy, Man of the Match: It was great to get out there and put in a big performance. Just the way Jonny and myself batted, we built the innings well, weren't quite sure how the pitch will behave. With that batting line-up, no matter what we get off the first 10 overs, batting the whole 50, we're gonna get a big score. We've been doing pretty well together over the past couple of years. We have nothing much to worry about. We just go out there and get the job done. I didn't have a chance to chat with him (Morgan). He's obviously going to be very happy. We righted our wrongs. I'm extremely happy.

Easy win

Archer provides the finishing touches with his trademark vicious short ball at Mustafizur to ensure England's clinical 106-run victory. The tall man bowled with a good burst of pace and extracted venomous bounce. Only Shakib stood alone amidst the ruins for the Asian nation.

Meanwhile, the star of the day was Roy who top-scored with a belligerent 153. Buttler again gave a glimpse of his pyrotechnics. In the end, England had too many runs on the board for Bangladesh.

Two wickets away...

The wheels are falling away. Mark Wood prises out Mahmudullah. The required rate has climbed over 25. The Asian nation seems to be playing out for the NRR.

There was a bit of drama as the bail(s) didn't fall again with Saifuddin being the lucky batter. However, Stokes ended his innings by castling the lower order batsman. The all rounder is having a good day with the ball - three scalps now

Shakib's brilliance comes to end

Shakib explored all parts of the ground and even showcased his pyrotechnics. He also got a bit of luck with Root fluffing an easy chance off Stokes. However, Stokes continued to bowl with vigour and cleaned up Shakib with a brilliant yorker. The all rounder rightly walked back to the pavilion with a round of applause from the fans.

Stokes also dismissed Mossadek with Jofra grabbing a sharp catch in the deep.

Hundred for Shakib

He's batting at No 3 like he never has before. Hundred# 8 for Shakib Al Hasan in ODIs. "He gets a standing ovation from the crowd and his team-mates. Just a raise of the bat from the premier all-rounder," our ball-by-ball commentary writes. But England way ahead in the game. Bangladesh need 205 runs from 17 overs, with six wickets in hand. The cross-seam king

Plunkett has one go-to-weapon. Lots of cross seam. He kept using cross seam and finally one gripped off the surface, Rahim eked out a leading edge to the fielder at backward point. The partnership is broken.

To make matters worse, Mithun tried a slog and was dismissed by Rashid. Nice flight from the legspinner.

Half-century for Shakib

Shakib Al Hasan has completed a fine fifty but Bangladesh are well behind. The required run rate is closing in on 10.

Wood takes one

Tamim seemed to be all over the place after that hair-raising spell from Jofra. Eventually, Mark Wood dislodged the southpaw.

Jofra at his best

Jofra seems to be bowling a yard quicker today. Angry after being hit around by Pakistan's batsmen? He clonked Tamim with a brutal short delivery and bowled another vicious short of a length ball to Shakib. Shakib and Tamim would rather be somewhere else than facing this kind of brutal short-pitched bowling.
