For a second world cup semifinal in a row, New Zealand have managed to edge their way past in a thrilling encounter. The match looked out of India's grasp around the halfway mark in their innings, when they were tottering at 92 for 6 in the 31st over. However, a superb rescue act led by Ravindra Jadeja's half-century and a century-stand between the all-rounder and MS Dhoni brought India back into the context. However, with both of them falling in quick succession in the last 15 balls of the match, the game slipped past India completely. Eventually, Lockie Ferguson and James Neesham bagged the last two wickets and helped New Zealand bowl out India for 221 in pursuit of the 240-run target, winning the match by 18 runs. For a second world cup in a row, New Zealand reach the final. In hindsight, maybe that boring and rusty knock by Ross Taylor wasn't all that bad. However, it was Matt Henry's early strikes that paved for this win. What a shocker, what a performance, what a match!

WICKET Lockie Ferguson is in business now. Bhuvneshwar Kumar cleaned up. With that wicket, the faintest of India's hopes go up in the air!
WICKET Dhoni has been run out! Martin Guptill gets a direct hit from deep square leg, similar to how Ravindra Jadeja had ran out Ross Taylor earlier in the day. The game-changer by Big Marty!
WICKET Trent Boult has struck...a massive wicket, a massive partnership! Jadeja goes, in Ravi Shastri's words, for the full monty, fails to time it well, it goes high up in the air, and captain kane Williamson does well to grab it.
37 in 3 overs. One over to be bowled by Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult and James Neesham each.
