Trinbago Knight Riders began brightly in their quest to go level at the top of the points table with Guyana Amazon Warriors, before incessant rain put a spanner in the works and left them to share the honours with St. Lucia Zouks in St. Lucia.

The Knight Riders inserted the home side in and rattled them with a couple of early wickets. Colin Ingram steadied the ship in the company of Colin de Grandhomme, but not for long. Knight Riders broke the 51-run third wicket stand at the halfway stage and removed Rakheem Cornwall early to leave Ingram - who'd got to his half-century - with a lot of work to do in the second half.

That however, was not to be as rain interrupted play and didn't allow for a resumption, handing a point each to both the sides. With this no-result, St. Lucia Zouks stay put at fifth spot with 3 points to their tally while the Knight Riders got to 9 - just one short of Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Brief Scores: St Lucia Zouks 99/4 in 12.2 overs (Colin Ingram 52*; Ali Khan 1-18) vs Trinbago Knight Riders. Match abandoned due to rain.
