STUMPSVernon Philander and Keshav Maharaj played out the last 50 balls of the day safely to take South Africa to 102 for 6 at stumps on Day 4. But it was another day dominated by England. First they bagged the last four South African wickets quickly and then ripped through their top order in the second innings after enforcing follow on. Joe Root may not have bowled the most testing of spells in his 18 overs but he picked four crucial wickets. England still need four more wickets - with South Africa's last five batters to play out. The problem, however, will not be defiance of the batsmen as much as it will about the rain, which also ate into almost half a day's play on Sunday. South Africa were looking at the clock on Day 4 and they will be looking at the skies on day 5. They have every reason.

WICKET Faf du Plessis's long vigil comes to an end. He did play 123 balls but that seems way too little from what the team wanted at this point of time. Joe Root bags his fourth wicket as England close in on a massive win.
