Hayley Jensen signs up with Hobart Hurricanes

After missing the previous season of the Women's Big Bash League, Hayley Jensen, the New Zealand all-rounder, has signed up with Hobart Hurricanes as a replacement player for the sixth edition of WBBL. This will be the fourth WBBL team that Jensen will be part of, having previously represented Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers.

"The New Zealand cricket system has been great for Hayley, and I'm confident that she will rotate into the squad pretty easily," said Scott Barnes, General Manager of the Hurricanes. "She's first played for the Kiwis in the 2013/14 season, and to have notched up a Player of the Match award in the team's first World Cup match earlier this year shows just how much she has to offer."

Jensen is among several new signings for the Hurricanes, who had also roped in Naomi Stalenberg and Amy Smith. Meanwhile, Australia pacer
