It began with Tim Southee and ended with Jamieson on the second day in an exhibition of brilliant fast bowling with no West Indian batsman barring Jermaine Blackwood able to resist the New Zealand pace attack.

Blackwood put on a valiant 69, but his resistance ended soon enough. West Indies still trail by 336 runs with two wickets, having lost 5-20 towards the end of the day.
