The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai can provide some of the the best batting conditions in white-ball cricket, with its true bounce and short boundary sizes. Fast bowlers though have enjoyed the prospect of bowling here, especially in the early Indian season when the bounce and nip can tilt the bat-ball balance ever so slightly in their favour. Friday (March 17) just happened to be such a day.
