Easy wins for CSK, RR
The El Clasico turned into a bit of a lopsided contest, Mumbai Indians being plagued by very similar problems like last year. There were a few sparks of brilliance, but the openers failed to capitalise on their starts, Jadeja got the better of in-form Tilak Verma and Tim David's entertaining cameo at no.7 was cut short - Jadeja, Santner and Deshpande sharing seven wickets among them. Chasing a modest 158 in Wankhede's tiny ground, MI did manage an early breakthrough, bringing Rahane in and boy did he surprise with his powerplay-hitting. No ugly or unorthodox shots and yet Rahane raced to a 19-ball fifty - leading the way for CSK's second win of the season, by 7 wickets.
