Phoebe Litchefield's blazing half-century and Annabel Sutherland's all-round performance (3/20 & 29*) helped Northern Superchargers cruise to a comfortable eight-wicket win at Lord's. After restricting London Spirit to 90 for 8, Superchargers made light work of the chase, overhauling the target with 34 balls to spare, securing their fourth win of the season and jumping to the second spot on the points table.
Litchfield, Sutherland power Superchargers to dominant win

Opting to bat, Spirits found themselves in trouble early, with the early snaps of Kate Cross and Grace Ballinger. Georgia Redmayne looked to steady the innings, but she didn't find enough support from the other end. Nicola Carey and Sutherland combined to dismiss five batters, while Ballinger too chipped in with a brace.
Izzy Wong and Charlie Dean added a useful 33-run stand, but given that it took as many deliveries, the absence of an acceleration limited them to a below-par total.
In response, Rebecca Tyson sent both the openers packing cheaply. But Litchfield and Sutherland ensured there were no more hiccups en route the target. Litchfield had taken the attack to Wong in the second set itself, cracking three boundaries after Bex Tyson was dismissed for a duck.
She continued to be the aggressor through the course of the third wicket stand, taking down Charlie Knott for a couple of boundaries as well. Sutherland was more conservative with her attack, but she also pulled Wong for a six over backward square leg.
Litchefield completed the chase off the 66th delivery with a boundary through fine leg to hand Spirit their second loss of the season.
