The last time Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad locked horns in IPL 2015, it was David Warner's 91 that proved to be the difference between the two sides. On Monday, both teams will land in Kolkata having played their respective matches on Saturday. While Kolkata Knight Riders lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in a last-over finish, Sunrisers Hyderabad trumped table-toppers Chennai Super Kings. In the previous five games between the two sides, KKR have defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad thrice, and the advantage of playing at home will certainly work in their favour. But after what transpired in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, all that will have little impact.

Having now posted three wins in their last four games, Sunrisers Hyderabad have jumped to fifth in the points table, right below Gautam Gambhir's team which has a superior net run-rate.

Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, have hit a small slump of late. They did well to topple Chennai Super Kings, but then lost ground in Bangalore. With just five more matches left to play, Kolkata Knight Riders will need to get their act together in order to make it to the play-off.

David Warner won the toss and elected to field first. KKR wouldn't mind that really. If they can put up a decent score, they'll back their bowlers on a familiar pitch to defend it. No Trent Boult for SRH and therefore Steyn makes the eleven again. Hmm interesting ! Also, Ashish Reddy misses out after his heroics against CSK.

And surprise, surprise - No Cummins or Morkel for KKR. Johan Botha will play

Openers have given KKR a solid start. Can they sustain this through the 20 overs ? How much do you think KKR will get? Let's do the sweepstakes. Send your prediction to @kausheikh.

When you're in form, it shows. Uthappa continued KKR's brisk start by hitting two sweetly timed boundaries of Bhuvi before working Praveen Kumar for two more in the next. SRH's bowlers consistently erred by bowling to the KKR batsman's pads, a strategy that is unlikely to be very advantageous.

At 36/0 after 4 overs, KKR have given themselves the ideal start.

Some swing on offer at the Eden as Bhuvneshwar Kumar got a couple of deliveries to shape away from Robin Uthappa before bringing one back in. But for some poor backing up by SRH's fielders, Bhuvi's first over may have costed just the 2 runs. It eventually costed 6.

Dale Steyn's second over cost 9 as Gambhir picked up a couple of twos before Uthappa uncorked a gorgeous cover-drive. Positive start for KKR. 15/0 after 2 overs.

It was Gambhir's turn to join the party after the early pyrotechnics from Uthappa. He crunched a couple of fours off Dale Steyn and with the ball coming on nicely on to the bat, Warner brought on Moises Henriques into the attack. The medium-pacer employed a fuller length to start off and was hit to the straight boundary by Gambhir before conceding another four down the leg-side.

KKR 55/0 after 6 overs! Super start, this!
