It was a fantastic day for the visitors as hundreds from Younis Khan and Azhar Ali helped them cross the 300-mark. Earlier, they had got off to an unsteady start, losing Mohammad Hafeez and Sami Aslam in the first session. However, once Younis came to the crease, he played fearlessly to take on the Bangladesh bowlers. Both Azhar and Younis got reprieves and they made full use of the lifelines to share a mammoth 250-run stand for the third wicket. In the process, they slammed their respective tons, thus putting Pakistan in a strong position.

Although Younis was dismissed towards the fag end of the day, Azhar Ali is still out there, batting on 127. He is joined at the crease by skipper Misbah ul Haq, who would want to take complete advantage of Pakistan's position and press further.

How much will they make? Is a big first innings total on cards? Or can the hosts trigger a quick collapse? We'll find out soon...

Good start for Bangladesh. Pakistan lose their skipper without adding to yesterday's score. Misbah was done in by the flight and trajectory from Shakib. He came down the track but looks to defend as the ball drifted in. Shakib managed to get the slightest hint of turn and Misbah ended up defending down the wrong line. The ball hit the top of leg stump - that's how badly Misbah misjudged the line.

Pakistan were sedate in the first hour of day 2. They lost Misbah early but Azhar Ali continues to stand his ground. Asad Shafiq is at the other end and going by his recent form, one can expect him to score at a good rate. Pakistan have crossed the 350-mark and with 6 wickets in hand, they will look to add more to get to a big total.
