We saw 13 wickets fall for 233 runs yesterday. Australia are ahead at this stage of the game, but the morning session is going to be crucial for the visitors as a good couple of hours will put them in command.

Josh Hazlewood's spell right after the lunch break was crucial for the visitors as it rattled West Indies' middle-order. Jason Holder was determined to fight hard with the bat, but his mates did not give him enough support. Having been bowled out for just 148, West Indies needed to start well with the ball, especially against the likes of David Warner, and Jerome Taylor did not disappoint. He removed Warner very early but Shaun Marsh battled hard with Steve Smith before gifting his wicket to Jason Holder.

Skipper Michael Clarke looked positive from the outset, but he played one shot too many against Devendra Bishoo and edged the leggie to the keeper. Smith then dropped anchor, while debutant Adam Voges batted sensibly to ensure that no more damage was done.

No doubt Voges' achievement is incredible, but one has to praise Josh Hazlewood as well for his determined support. The number eleven batsman has added 59 runs for the last wicket along with Voges. Australia are now sitting pretty on top of a handy lead and the hosts must be frustrated with themselves for having let the advantage slip away.

The final session could be interesting. Join us in a while to find out.

What a fantastic start for West Indies! They have got Australia's danger man. Steven Smith fell to Devendra Bishoo, who got his second wicket of the match. It was a shortish delivery that lured Smith out of his crease, but he was not able to connect with the ball as it ripped past him in the hands of the keeper. Ramdin was alert and whipped off the bails in a flash.

The West Indies camp was wary for a while as umpires checked repeatedly for the no-ball but Bishoo was fine on that count.

The young and talented Devendra Bishoo has been bowling brilliantly since yesterday. He was rewarded yet again when he struck in the very next over to remove Shane Watson on 11. A widish delivery enticed Watson into reaching after it and the batsman edged it to second slip, where Holder took a sharp low catch.

Australia have now lost half their side.

22 years ago, on this day, Shane Warne had bowled the ball of the century to Mike Gatting. Devendra Bishoo upheld the legacy and bowled a spectacular delivery to completely outfox Brad Haddin.

Haddin was drawn onto his front foot and the ball turned square past him to clatter the off-stump. He looked dazed.
