Sydney Thunder will take on Perth Scorchers in the 22nd game of this season's BBL. Thunder started on a good note by winning their first three matches. However, by losing their last two encounters, Thunder now find themselves at third place in the points table. So, they will look to get back to winning ways by emerging triumphant today. Thunder though,will miss the services of their skipper, Michael Hussey. The southpaw is suffering from a hamstring injury. The experienced all-rounder, Jacques Kallis is expected to make a welcome return to the side.

Once McDonald snaffled the crucial scalp of Marsh, Ashton Agar and Cameron Bancroft explored every nook and corner of the ground with a slew of eye-catching shots. Both of them also compiled their respective fifties. Despite losing the duo in the slog overs, Perth ended up with a competitive score.
