Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers Hyderabad could hardly be further apart with regard to their performances in IPL 2016. GL have been the trendsetters in the tournament - having won all their three games chasing. SRH slipped in their first two matches before pipping Mumbai Indians by seven wickets. They showed the required determination and steel that was in stasis during the first two games. However, as it is rightly said, one swallow doesn't make a summer. SRH need to build momentum with a string of victories.

Teams chasing have had all the good fortune so far in the tournament. Will that trend continue today? The toss isn't too far away. Only a few more moments before we get to see who chooses to chase.

Warner and Dhawan made light work of the chase and put on an unbeaten 100-run stand as SRH raced away in the chase. Warner was the more dominant partner but Dhawan got some much-needed time in the middle and found the going easier as he batted on. The knock would do his confidence a world of good.

Win the toss, win the match? That's been the mantra in IPL 2016. If that holds good today, then it will be a much-needed win for David Warner's SRH. Gujarat Lions have got off to a very good start in the tournament but how will they fare while batting first today?

Teams:

Sunrisers Hyderabad (Playing XI): David Warner(c), Shikhar Dhawan, Moises Henriques, Eoin Morgan, Deepak Hooda, Naman Ojha(w), Aditya Tare, Bipul Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mustafizur Rahman, Barinder Sran

Gujarat Lions (Playing XI): Aaron Finch, Brendon McCullum, Suresh Raina(c), Dinesh Karthik(w), Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, Akshdeep Nath, Dale Steyn, Praveen Kumar, Dhawal Kulkarni, Pravin Tambe

Raina: "He's (Jadeja) back and he's playing well in the nets. Dale Steyn is back for Jimmy (Faulkner). The wicket is slower and we wanted to bat first. So happy with the toss. Warner's team has a good batting lineup and he himself is in good form. We have a good spinner and we have to make sure we have some total on the board."

Warner: "Bowl because the wicket isn't going to change and the way our bowlers bowled, and the way we chased. Winning the game helps the momentum. Early wickets is the key to this format. Tare comes in for Ashish Reddy."

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was getting the ball to shape around from his first delivery. The plan was clearly to swing it in to Aaron Finch. And Bhuvneshwar delivered perfectly with a big banana inswinger that crashed into the middle and leg stump.

Soon after Finch's departure though, Suresh Raina got off the mark with a boundary off the first ball he faced before adding one more a delivery later.
