The Karnataka batsman went from an unbeaten 71 to remaining not out on 303 by the end of day's play. It was an innings enough to deflate an opposition and England did seem deflated by the end of it.

The England Test side's dismal tour of India comes to an end today. But what will the final day bring? The visitors still trail by 270 runs as openers Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings saw through the five overs last evening unscathed. Can England bat out the entire day to pull out a draw on what is a batting-friendly pitch or will the Indian bowlers be all over the Englishmen once again?
