The preparations for the Women's World Cup are underway. The mega-event which is scheduled to start on June 24 will see the eight major countries battle it out for the ultimate prize. India and South Africa, who are part of the tournament, are playing a quadrangular series in the latter's home involving Ireland and Zimbabwe. The competition kick-started on May 7 (Sunday) with the two African sides locking horns, while India took on Ireland.
