Any cricket match in India has a distinct feel in the streets surrounding it. Be it the IPL, or an ODI, there are hawkers selling all kinds of things to create a party zone. From blowhorns to team jerseys, or painting faces, the full-range was on display on the streets outside the Edgbaston before the game started with plenty of fans, of both countries recreating the 'feel' of a match in the sub-continent. Distinctly missing for the first game here (between Australia and New Zealand), the atmosphere right from the morning on Sunday was built up to be terrific. Even touts selling tickets outside the counters couldn't be missed.
