Pakistan benefit from bowling riches

Pakistan's bowling at the moment looks impregnable. For nine games on the trot now, they have not conceded totals in excess of 250 runs. Not just the hapless Sri Lankans, but strong batting outfits like India, South Africa and England have failed to post 250 or more against Pakistan, which has made the life of the batsmen too easy. The quality of Pakistan's bowling attack is incredible, but what's also impressive is their bench strength - a fine array of back-up bowlers.

Mickey Arthur these days must be feeling like Chuck Daly, the coach of US Dream Team in the 1992 Olympics that went onto win gold in basketball. His starting five were unstoppable and equally good were his reserves with the likes of Larry Bird and Charles Barkley on the bench.
