What a round this turned out to be! 9 out of the 12 matches got outright result, seven of them coming on the final day and four of them in the dying minutes. There were only three draws, out of which Odisha would consider themselves lucky for having escaped without a defeat.

For as bizarre as it turns out to be, the biggest clash of the round - Mumbai vs Tamil Nadu - was one of the most boring contests of Round 3. Despite all the exciting and thrilling moments in the game, only two innings were completed, and the contest turned out to be the only one that didn't get a result or come close to getting one.
