An hour before the game, the Sri Lankans were out practicing which got the crowd excited as they were expecting to see their heroes soon. To their surprise, only the coach Ravi Shastri was out in the middle. With no player coming out even ten minutes ahead of the toss, the crowd grew impatient before one player was spotted coming in. The crowd erupted again in hope of seeing a Dhoni or a Rohit but they had to contend with Jaydev Unadkat for a while.
