"Four years ago, we were in the same position, we were roomed together [New Zealand A had come visiting India for two unofficial Tests and ODIs]. We were here in the same hotel. I had played one Test, he was just 19. And he got picked for the Test series against Bangladesh. It was hard but as long as there's clear communication and we know what we need to do to get better, we are more than happy."
