His luck runs out at the worst possible moment, he cannot believe it, he hangs his head back in agony and covers his face. Banged in short on middle, Brook took it on but wasn't in control. It took the top-edge and flew all the way down to Shardul at long-leg. He didn't quite spot it early but made sure he held on. Brook walks off shaking his head, he gets a standing ovation and manages to raise his bat in acknowledgement. Gut-wrenching moment that, an absolute nightmare for any batter to be dismissed on 99.
