Wasn't quite a tall bouncer but a short ball. Atkinson was definitely surprised by the change in length, which is why he couldn't middle the pull shot. The moment the ball went in the air, the fielder at short mid-wicket was so convinced and relaxed knowing this is going straight to his teammate.
