Sachin Tendulkar has been hospitalised. Having been on home quarantine after having tested positive for Covid-19 recently, the cricket legend consulted doctors at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre (in Charni Road, Mumbai) on Thursday night (April 1). On the medical advice, he got himself admitted as a matter of 'abundant precaution'.

"He is stable. He has been admitted only for the convenience of treatment. There is no worry, he has been speaking normally," said a friend, who has spoken to him on Friday (April 2) morning. Tendulkar himself announced his medical condition through his social media handle and also greeted the 2011 World Cup-winning teammates on the 10th anniversary of the occasion.
