Live Cricket Score: MI vs SRH, Match 69, IPL 2023

Green gets MI home
A huge eight-wicket win with two overs to spare like they would have wanted. Cameron Green finishes with a fantastic century, and Mumbai Indians have done what they needed to. They tracked down a target of 201 with ease and gave their NRR a massive boost, and all that remains now is to wait and watch. For MI to seal the last available playoff spot, they will need Royal Challengers Bangalore to lose against Gujarat Titans or for that match in Bengaluru to be rained out!
Rohit falls for 56
Walks back after his third fifty in 41 innings for Rohit since 2021, and second this season. Brilliant innings, not his most fluent and fastest but he's played a good enabler for Green who continues to tee off at the Wankhede and keep MI alive and kicking in the tournament. Coming to the wicket, it was thanks to a brilliant flying catch from Nitish Reddy at backward point.
Fifty for Green
He's come and he's got going. No wasting time like he's done all season. Gets to his fifty off only 20 balls and SRH have done their best to help him with their off lines and lengths.
Ishan falls early
The intent was there but it's always a double-edged sword. Miscues the pull and falls to a diving catch from Harry Brook. Bowled by Bhuvneshwar who else. Chris Green walks out at No.3...
SRH finish with 200
This could have been 220 the way they were batting but SRH will have to settle for 200. MI did stage a very good comeback at the back end. SRH were 144/1 after 14 overs but MI pulled things back with Madhwal finishing with a four-wicket haul. MI will fancy their chances of chasing it down and then the focus will shift to Bangalore.
Madhwal breaks through for MI
Vivrant gets a bouncer and he can't get on top of that. Why wasn't that tried earlier to him? It's time for Klaasen. (where's Chawla, we want to see this battle play out.)
Fifties for Vivrant, Mayank
Vivrant has looked good in only his third IPL appearance ever and made this opportunity count. Played spin well but he's also used his feet against pace en route to a 36-ball fifty. Mayank, who was initially the aggressor, has nicely settled into a good rhythm and helps himself to a 32-ball fifty. Takes his helmet off and looks skywards to hoist his first fifty of the season... That unusual celebration aside, where's the wicket going to come for MI?
Bharath Ramaraj spoke to Vivrant Sharma and his brother a few months ago.
