Will O'Rourke, the New Zealand pacer, has been ruled out of the second Test against Zimbabwe due to a back injury, New Zealand Cricket announced on Tuesday. Left-arm pacer Ben Lister, who is yet to play a Test, has been added to the squad as a cover for the two-match Test series.

O'Rourke, who featured in the first Test between the two teams, had experienced stiffness to his back while playing on Day three at the Queens Cricket Club in Bulawayo last week. He had bowled 23 overs in that match, and returned three wickets.

New Zealand registered a thumping nine-wicket win and will look to complete a clean sweep with a victory in the second Test, which is set to begin on August 7.
