South Africa will be without fast bowler Kagiso Rabada for the ODI series against Australia, starting on August 19. The pacer is out due to an inflammation of his right ankle. The 30-year-old is said to have undergone a scan on Monday (August 18) which confirmed the extent of the injury.

Cricket South Africa has said that he will now remain in Australia and undergo rehabilitation under the supervision of the national team medical staff.
For the first fixture in Cairns, South Africa have gone with the pace trio of Lungi Ngidi, Nandre Burger and Wiaan Mulder. The next two games will be played on August 22 and 24 in McKay.
