The scoreline makes it seem like an extremely one-sided Australian visit, and a few games have been that way. But overall, West Indies did match them punch for punch, but failed to ever really land that knockout blow. There is plenty of talent around in the Caribbean, lacking perhaps just a bit of cricketing smarts and playing at the highest level. Tours like these, albeit ending in an Australian whitewash, will hopefully really benefit the cricketing landscape in the Caribbean. We’ll see how they fare when Pakistan come visiting in a couple of days. Australia can enjoy a well deserved rest after a triumphant series whitewash. That's all for now, folks! Ciao!

Mitch Marsh: Didn't expect 5-0 at the start of the series, but we played some great cricket throughout. (On being the first team to beat a full member 5-0) We spoke about it after the 4th game. We haven't played a lot together as a group, so this achievement is something the boys will always be proud about. (Positives from the series) We have quite a bit of flexibility, we are fluid and the guys have all come in and taken that opportunity. The way T20 is going, teams just need to keep going. You saw it today with Tim David and the way he played that innings. Looks exciting, long may it continue. We have huge amount of respect for the West Indies, we just want to focus on our execution and focus on the challenge at hand.

Shai Hope: Don't think we put up a good batting display. We came up against a quality opposition in Australia but as a batting group we didn't give ourselves the best chance. We were always one step behind the eight ball, but have to commend the bowling effort. Just didn't happen for us today. In the Caribbean, chasing is always better due to the dew and wind factor. But that's not something I can control. We have some clarity in the bowling unit, we executed better. We'll put this behind us and look ahead to the Pakistan series.

Cameron Green | Player of the Series: The wickets were certainly better (than the Tests). It was a great series for many of our guys - Inglis and Tim David for instance. (On batting at number 4) We'll have to wait and see, there are about five guys in our team who can bat four. (On bowling) Hopefully I'm only a couple of months away. Half the team are made of all-rounders, that's the kind of squad we want to build. We got Maxi and Cooper as well if the wickets are turning. I've had great partnerships around me, we all lean on each other. Massive series win, the T20 World Cup isn't too far away so a bit of consistency will be good.

Ben Dwarshius | Player of the Match: It was a slower wicket, so tried to hit the wicket hard and bowl some slower ones. Lot of thinking and planning goes into the games, to not let batters access certain areas. It was a challenge on these batter friendly wickets, felt like a nice, tidy challenge. Amazing to be part of this historic squad, will look back at this series for the rest of my life. I grew up watching Mitch Johnson and Starc, they are probably my role models.

22:27 Local Time, 02:27 GMT, 07:57 IST: Folks, what we have seen here is a microcosm of what to do and what not to do in a modern T20 game. Australia did all the right things - they front loaded their hitters, went hard during the powerplay, kept going hard despite losing wickets and always kept the asking rate in check. Cameos from Tim David, Cameron Green and Mitch Owen allowed Aaron Hardie to anchor towards the end and help the visitors chase it down with three overs to spare. For West Indies, it was a case of what not to do - they dropped the ball when they had the momentum and seemed averse to think out of the box. They were cruising towards the end of their batting innings, but lost wickets in a heap. While bowling, a single loose ball after a solid over, or an expensive follow-up to a pressure building over cost them. They came up with moments but not with consistency. Also, restricting Akeal Hosein because this is a small ground which isn't turning much proved to be a faux pas as the left-arm spinner returned with figures of 3/17. If only he was introduced before the 9th over. We are sure the captains have plenty to reflect on as well, stick around...
