Rob Johnston has more on England's man of the moment, Jos Buttler.

Build up:

At the Tea break on Day 3, England in the second innings in the Lord's Test - 112 for 6. Still 67 runs behind to avoid an innings defeat. At that juncture, Pakistan looked set to become the first visiting team to win a Test at Lord's inside three days in the last 106 years. However, Jos Buttler, who was picked by the national selector, Ed Smith, based on "unique gifts" he brings to the Test side, stitched an unbeaten 125-run stand with the debutant Dom Bess to lift the home team.

Can Buttler and Bess continue to stall Pakistan's progress and steer the home team to a position of strength? Or will the tourists break the stubborn partnership and power to a memorable victory at the 'Home of Cricket'? The visitors will certainly hope that Abbas and Amir can cause the damage with the second new ball.

We will have all the live updates from the Test, where the plot continues to thicken, with the plots and sub-plots interlinked to make an intriguing contest between bat and ball.
