Australia's batsmen will be in focus today in this second One-Day International after collapsing for just 148 within 25 overs in the first ODI. New Zealand have a chance to win a series against Australia for the first time since 2007 and they certainly start favourites. Usman Khawaja is expected to come into the Australian XI but can he prove to the saviour? What can McCullum do in his last international at the Westpac stadium?

Brendon McCullum has won the toss and New Zealand will bat first like they did in the first ODI. So get set for the McCullum-Guptill show yet again folks. Australia have made three changes to their side. Khawaja in for Marsh, Adam Zampa is making his debut and replaces the injured Faulkner and Scott Boland replaces Kane Richardson. New Zealand are unchanged.

Playing XI

New Zealand: Brendon McCullum (C), Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson, Henry Nicholls, Grant Elliott, Corey Anderson, Luke Ronchi (WK), Mitchell Santner, Adam Milne, Matt Henry, Trent Boult

Australia: David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Steven Smith (C), George Bailey, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Marsh, Mathew Wade (WK), John Hastings, Scott Boland, Adam Zampa and Josh Hazlewood

Typical Brendon McCullum! Gives New Zealand a whirlwind start and then gets out. Scott Boland has struck in his first over, after getting hit for a six off the first ball, he strikes timber off the second. Fans give their skipper an ovation as he walks back scoring 28 off just 12. Williamson the new man in.

New Zealand are in trouble! They need a breakthrough and are not sure where they are going to get it from. Hastings and Marsh have added 50 with the former looking very comfortable out there. Can Australia hold on and make it 1-1?

It's all over! The stunning comeback is complete! Marsh and Hastings have added an unbeaten 86 for the 7th wicket to seal what looked like an improbable win at one stage to level the series for Australia. Marsh remained unbeaten on 69 whereas Hastings finished on 48 at the other end. Mitchell Santner's all-round efforts have went in vain.
