series is the most in a 3-match bilateral ODI series going past 14 in WI v Ind in India in 2013.
Yuvraj falls after Kohli now. Was looking very good, having hit Moeen Ali into the stands to move into the forties. But just as he looked set to score another half-century, he flicks a Plunkett straight into the hands of the deep mid-wicket fielder. India four down and need a Dhoni special to stand a chance. Here's Kedar Jadhav.
Kedar Jadhav's gotten himself to a nice little start. Busy batsman, this Maharashtra lad. He needs to be because MS Dhoni has begun on what's fast becoming a pattern to his innings in chases. A sedate start.
But Jadhav's got going with a succession of boundaries. Need a lot more.
Not going to be a vintage Dhoni chase. The former captain looks to slap Ball past cover but only succeeds in nicking it off to the keeper. That's the end of a laborious 36-ball 25 from Dhoni. Out just when he was looking to push on.

Pandya has eked out a couple of outside edges while Jadhav has struck a sequence of well-timed boundaries to keep India in the hunt in the chase. The asking rate has crept up over 9 and so one of them will have to go big to swing the momentum back in India's favour. Nothing fancy from England's bowlers. They are bowling on a length outside off-stump.
An extra fielder in the deep in the final 10 will help but the dew could still play a part. A tantalising finish awaits. 93 from 10.
Kedar Jadhav is slowly showing that he is the right man for India lower down the order. His calm demeanour coupled with his ability to score quickly and consistent will ensure he gets more chances to play for the Indian team.
He has brought up another fifty and has put India in a position from where they can start dreaming of a win. It still looks a tall order, but Jadhav has already anchored one chase this tournament. Is it time for a second?
England, on the other hand, look bereft of ideas at the moment. Hardik Pandya's wild slogs are somehow finding the gaps, and they will hope that one of the them ends up in a fielder's hands before irrevocable damage is done.
As if on cue, Hardik Pandya gets to his fifty. He's showing that Jadhav is not the only finisher at present for the Indian side. He pulls a short delivery off Plunkett for six to bring up his maiden ODI fifty. It's been some innings this, full of mishits and slogs, but it's getting the job done for India.

England finally have their breakthrough. Hardik Pandya's knock comes to an end, out bowled by Ben Stokes while going for a big shot across the line. It's the end of an important knock, but can Jadhav and R Jadeja help India across the line. Tight finish this!
Jadeja gives India a big cheer by slamming back-to-back boundaries, but off the very next ball, he pulls it straight to the fielder in the deep. One brings two as R Ashwin departs after making just 1.Thankfully for India, Jadhav is still at the crease and India's massive hopes rest on his shoulders.
