You've got to love the Delhi Daredevils captain. The veteran has decided to go against the conventional wisdom once again, asking KKR to chase. Gambhir reckons he'd have bowled first anyway. Predictable from both of them then.
DD vs KKR - There's something very intriguing about this fixture, more so this season. KKR have already made their presence felt at the top of the table and would want to go back up there and enjoy the view again, while DD are looking to silently accumulate wins (as well as a huge NRR) and fly under the radar. Zaheer Khan's continued from where he left off in 2016, and he's had all-round support - from his Indian contingent as well as the foreign buys.
KKR appear well-rounded too. Chris Lynn's injury hasn't made a telling impact...still, and Robin Uthappa showing form at the right time makes them a shoo in for another deep run in the tournament. Third title? Well, why not.
