That's a wrap:
That's a wrap:
Eight series victories on the trot, it seems
Tight start:
India begin Day 4 with back-to-back maidens. Shami bowls one to Karunaratne and also beats the outside edge on one occasion. Jadeja too goes past the outside edge of Pushpakumara's bat. But no damage done.
Build-up: Sri Lanka look to continue spirited fightback
Hello and welcome to the fourth day of the second Test between Sri Lanka and India. After losing eight wickets in the first session on Saturday, Sri Lanka scripted a fine fightback through Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis. Together, they put on a 191-run stand for the second wicket, before the latter fell for 110 late in the day.
The left-handed opener is still unbeaten and will need to carry on the way he did yesterday. With the experienced duo of Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews to follow, Sri Lanka would be hopeful that they manage to give India a much stronger fight in their second essay.
Stay tuned for all the action. We will be bringing you the live updates.
