Right, there you have it: New Zealand win by 66 runs by the DLS Method. After having been reduced to 9 for 5, it was quite a fightback from them to even last their 23 overs. They eventually were restricted to 99/9 with Boult and Santner picking up three wickets apiece.

It was a tough day of cricket with rain looming around, but New Zealand were clinical, as they have been all series and even were in the preceding Tests. Superb win from the hosts who take the series 3-0. Thank you for your company all series. We look forward to you joining us for the T20I series. Goodbye until then,

HOLDER DEPARTS: Santner with another one! Flights it and Holder falls for the bait. Holder departs for 34 off 21 after a nice little cameo. He was the last hope for them, although even that would've been a stretch really. Broom makes good ground and takes a sharp catch. Made it look easy. New Zealand need two more wickets to win.

WRONG 'UN:Todd Astle gets his man. The wrong 'un sneaks through bat and pad after having pitched around off, with Nurse trying to drive against the turn. Gone! Stumps are shattered.

PURE CLASS:Santner sets up Powell with some clever bowling. Mixes the deliveries up and knew Powell wanted to let loose, so tossed one up and offered width. The batsman fell for the trap, holding out to Lockie Ferguson, who picked out the outside edge at short third man. Six down now.

FIGHTBACK:After being reduced to 9 for 5, Jason Holder and Rovman Powell have staged a brief fightback with the skipper leading by example.

EARLY BREAK:Cottrell strikes early! Worker can't get a third ODI fifty in a row. Castled. Has to make his way back for 2. Salute follows... Worker tried to pull, but an under-edge shatters this stumps. 10/1.

Quite overcast in Christchurch as the New Zealand openers Worker and Munro make their way into the middle.Cottrell will open the bowling for Windies. Here we go.

Toss:Tom Latham wins the toss and New Zealand will bat; Good news for Windies is that Gayle returns from his bout of illness.

Good morning and welcome to the final ODI between New Zealand and Windies. It was a fun Christmas for the Windian contingent gathered in New Zealand from the looks of it, but they're staring at the pospect of a whitewash in Christchurch after having been battered in the first two. If the result has to be any different, much has to change. Is the final ODI going to be when that happenes, or will the hosts run amok like they have in the first two? Find out soon.
