Consolation win
Consolation win
They needed this badly. This is just their third win on the tour. They could have won the previous two games as well if not for choking in the end. But they will take this nevertheless. Their batting order was shaky but the bowlers put their hands up to pull off a win and end the tour on a happy note.
3 for Amir
Dala has been pinching singles to give Morris the strike but with the boundaries anyway not coming, he tries to take on the left-arm seamer. Another miscue, another catch, another dismissal.
Tough task
SA need 53 from 18 balls. Morris will be on strike but he needs plenty of big hits. Pakistan will fancy themselves.
Fakhar departs
Zaman isn't having a great time. He takes on Hendricks in the final over of the powerplay but miscues it horribly. Shamsi at third man is called into action and he takes the skier after a mini wobble. Good diving catch that. Pakistan have lost both their openers in the powerplay. Skipper Malik has come out to join Rizwan.
He is gone!!!
Look at the delight in Malan's face. Babar doesn't move his feet and slaps this on the off side but Malan judges it perfectly and takes a pretty good catch. South Africa are pumped. They got the big fish. Rizwan is the new man in.
4, 4, 0, 4, 4, 1
He is continuing from where he left in the second T20I. Pakistan score only one run in the opening over but Babar Azam cracks four fours off Junior Dala's opening over. All four were amazing shots. South Africa need to get rid of him.
Toss - SA opt to bowl
The hosts want to chase down a total having batted first in the first two matches. They are also unchanged for this dead rubber. Pakistan on the other hand have two changes but Hafeez hasn't been drafted in. Mohammad Amir and Faheem Ashraf have replaced Hasan Ali and Usman Shinwari.

Build up
It's been a long tour. Three Tests, five ODIs and two T20Is have been played. And having lost eight of those matches, it's safe to say that Pakistan are already looking forward to return home. They have had a bad time. Apart from the ODI series where they stretched the hosts, it's been an overseas tour that they would like to forget. They could have won both the T20Is though especially the second one, if not for the batting unit to suffer another familiar collapse.
Babar Azam had a great outing playing some eye-catching strokes in his 90 in the second game but middle order failed to make use of it. That middle order could be boosted by the return of Mohammad Hafeez tonight but we will have to wait and see. For South Africa, it's been a great ride. Despite resting some top players, they have managed to seal the series and would love to round off with another win. They had already fielded a couple of debutants so it will be interesting to see what more changes they will be ringing in for this dead rubber. Welcome to the live blog for this final T20I in Centurion. Hopefully, this one's a cracker.
