Cummins on a roll
It didn't take long for Cummins to pick up his second wicket of the innings! It was a brute of a delivery that climbed from short of a length and took the splice of Chandimal's bat and straight into the hands of Patterson at gully.
Sri Lanka's troubles didn't end there as Mendis flirted at one outside off from Cummins and was caught in the slip cordon. The tourists are in dire-straits at the moment. They have already given a lead of 179 and are three down in the second essay.
And what about Cummins? He is undoubtedly the most complete fast bowler in this line-up.

Labuschagne and Head. The two batsmen gave renewed hope to the Australian camp that they have players coming through the ranks who can paddle through tricky conditions and score runs.
On Day 2, Australia had found themselves in a spot of bother at 82 for 4. However, the pair of Labuschagne and Head strung together a partnership of 166 for the fifth wicket to put Australia back in command.
For Sri Lanka, Suranga Lakmal bowled with excellent control and found just enough movement to trouble the home side and picked up five wickets. He could have also dismissed Head earlier on in the innings only for Dickwella to grass the chance.
After Australia gained a substantial first innings lead of 179, Cummins struck via the final ball of the day to dismiss Karunratne. He is certainly the heartbeat of the side.
