It was on the cards after they were bundled out for 78 on Day 1. By that metric they had a better second outing with the bat, but today they lost 8 for 63 after teasing a fightback last evening. They've fallen 3 balls short of batting 100 overs in the second innings. Small positives? No? Sorry.

What a comeback meanwhile for England. They had all the questions on their side after Lord's. They've responded in some style. Root still too good. Anderson imperious and today Robinson showing he's more than a capable No.2 in these conditions.
