Build-up:
It's the big one in Dubai tonight! Quite some entertainment in store for a Saturday night as arch-rivals England and Australia go up against each other. Both teams come into the clash unbeaten so far in the two games they've played in the tournament, but their perfect record is going to be tainted with a loss tonight - who's it going to be? England are at the top of the tablewith a very superior NRR, while Australia are second with as many points but behind by a mile in that regard.
Australia were tested by a feisty South Africa in their tournament opener. They stuttered in the chase before the lower-middle order finished the job. Against Sri Lanka, their openers found form, much to Australia's delight. Aaron Finch looked in good touch, while David Warner found much-needed form and confidence and spent a considerable amount of time in the middle, scoring his first fifty since April this year. Adam Zampa was more-than-handy in the middle overs as they put up an all-round performance.
It's been quite the opposite for England who have annihilated both West Indies and Bangladesh. They didn't have to fret too much in both those encounters with some outstanding bowling before their batters finished the job easily. They're untested so far in the tournament. Can Australia find a way to halt their juggernaut?
A lot will depend on the toss with dew coming into the picture in the second-half. Whoever wins the toss will want to bowl first. The chasing teams have had massive advantage winning 9 out of the 10 games so far.
