With India just on the DLS par score, the contest has ended in a tie, and as a result, India have secured a 1-0 win in the three-match T20I series. It was a well-fought contest between the two sides in Napier, with neither ever taking a strong control in the match. Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj starred with the ball for India, picking four wickets each, while Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips stroked fifties in an otherwise below-par batting performance by New Zealand. India batters too, barring Hardik Pandya couldn't contribute significantly in their 75 for 4 in 9 overs. The tour caravan now moves to Auckland for the start of the one-day series.
