West Indies leave England with a 0-6 record in white-ball formats. There's little time for any respite as they face Ireland on the 12th in a three-match T20I series. Meanwhile England gear up for a five-Test match series against India, starting on the 20th. The cricket just keeps coming and we will be there to bring all of that to you. For now, that's it from here. Do join us soon. Till then, sleep tight and take care. Bye bye.
Harry Brook: Very pleased. People have put a really good shift in, to top off the series like tonight is really pleasing. Having Dawson right in the middle helps a little bit. Woody bowled well, Pottsy bowled well in Durham, Carsey bowled quickly. It's been challenging but enjoyed it. (for the Tests vs India) I will be batting a lot in the nets, trying and prepare as best as I can. (on his captaincy) Still plenty of things to learn and take things into September.
Shai Hope: Grabbing those crucial moments in the game, we haven't put a complete game together. We need to find ways to get that complete game. (if playing more innovative shots is the answer) Yes and no. At the end of the day you have to find your way, key for me is to limit the dot balls, today I had to try something different as the target was huge, so said, back my scoop a couple of times. Marry that power with finesse. We have got to improve everywhere, we will be back in the Caribbean soon, three more games and a quick turnover, looking forward to it.
Jos Buttler | Player of the Series: Really enjoyed it. Great ODI series and a lot of confidence in the group and got the results to match. Find ways to improve, develop, new role at 3, new motivation and wanting to contribute, best way is with the gloves and bat. Having played for a while now, try to dip into that experience, look at the scoreboard and the situation and play accordingly. Lots of brilliant allrounders, Dilly keeps bowling better and better, Brooky marshalled them well, the spinners bowled well throughout, in different grounds as well.
Ben Duckett | Player of the Match: Was obviously a great pitch to bat, the ball did not do a great deal up top. (on Jamie Smith) The way he took down the seamers made my life easier. It's really good, we are pretty similar, we keep thing simple, he hits the ball in a completely different direction to I, so far so good. I try and keep it pretty simple. You play a few more expansive shots in T20 cricket, very simple in the way I train.
22:02 Local Time, 21:02 GMT, 02:32 IST: England have whitewashed West Indies in both white-ball formats on this tour. A dream start for Brook. Chasing such a big score, West Indies needed someone to come up with a big hundred but it was not to be. They though made a good fist of it with Powell leading the way. The openers failed and there were contributions from Hope, Hetmyer and Holder but it never threatened England. Wickets came when they needed and the result by the 17th over was a foregone conclusion. Powell though showed his power as he followed up his last innings in Bristol with another good one here. Luke Wood and Rashid were the pick of the bowlers, as they shared 5 wickets between themselves. Stay tuned for the post-match stuff...
