Massive result for the first World Champions of this format. Their cricket has been on a free fall for so many years now but results like these would certainly please them as this bilateral series win against Pakistan has come after 34 years. Hope and his men would be mighty proud. They really put in everything today and braved a tough wicket to produce this result. They were going at just abve three after the 20 over mark but Hope got set and scored a blazing ton. Roston Chase and Justin Greaves gave him good company and they got to 294 in their 50 overs. Post that it was the Jayden Seales show which had everyone spellbound. Pakistan would find it hard to swallow this bitter pill. Their ODI side is their most experienced lot and a series win was expected here. But even their stocks in every format has been on a free fall for sometime. Both teams are known to play some mercurical cricket and today was the turn of the hosts. It is our turn to sign off. We had pleasure bringing this series to you. Our team of Pradeep Krishnamurthy, Anurag Hegde, Siva and Kumar Abhisekh Das is signing off.

Shai Hope, Player of the Match: It was very important for us to go deep. You want to set the tone in PP. I wanted to give the team the best finish as well. We have struggled at times. We had 270-280 in mind. We had wickets in hand, wanted to capitalize. Justin came in and played well. We had a pretty complete game today. I am extremely proud. We tend to stress on the negatives. We have been creating history in the last couple of years. Really great to see the guys pulling this off. Jayden is a quality bowler. I am more excited about his preparation. He is a class act. He can move the ball both ways. Bowling much better in white ball cricket.

Mohammad Rizwan: We understood this was the third game given a Test across four innings was played on this deck. The momentum in the last 10 overs took it away as we were on top for the first 40 overs. We thought 220 was chaseable here. The credit goes to them. Credit to Hope. The execution was good but the edges went in their favour. Hope batted well and played some good shots. We had Ayub and Salman bowling. We thought Abrar would come and bowl. But Hope batted well and hence he didn't complete his overs. Seales was bowling well. He troubled us through the series. We needed partnerships and needed to spend some time.

Jayden Seales, Player of the Series: We had a team plan from before. We just tried to execute it to the best of our ability. The analyst and the bowling coach just showed me the line which works in ODI cricket. I am working on it. We wanted to keep the stumps in play. The pitch was a little up and down. Especially in ODI cricket, I have learnt the length to bowl on. It takes a lot of time and training. We keep our loads high and it is paying off.

16:04 Local Time, 20:04 GMT, 01:34 IST: Windies cricket saw a dark day not too long ago when Australia decimated them in a Pink Ball Test. But they say cricket is a great leveller. Cliches can be fancy when they are working for you. And Windies don't mind it today. They lost the T20I series coming into this ODi series and they have taken this 2-1. Today was a winner takes it all game and they have managed to annihilate their opposition. Has been a proper hammering as Pakistan never had a chance in this chase once Seales had the ball in his hands. He washed away the top-order with a four-fer in his opening spell and again came back to lay the finishing touches. Earlier, the skipper of Windies batted superbly to withstand the storm and paced his innings later to take his team beyond 290.

Jayden Seales to Hasan Ali, out Bowled!! Jayden Seales continues to wreck havoc. That was a short of length delivery, angled in, Hasan Ali was hanging back and looked to defend but was very timid in doing so. The ball went through his defence and shattered the sticks down. 6 wickets for Jayden Seales now. He has been almost unplayable. Superb show as another batter is out for a duck. Only a wicket remains now. Hasan Ali b Jayden Seales 0(3)
