Mumbai Indians are currently languishing at the bottom of the table with just one win in six matches, a position no team wants to be in. Their only win came against RCB, against whom they posted the first 200-plus total of the season. For a moment, it looked like they had found form but Shreyas Iyer's blitz knocked the wind out of them helping the Delhi Daredevils win comfortably by 37 runs.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad have had a topsy-turvy campaign. They are on the fifth spot in the points table, tied with KXIP and RCB but boast of a superior run-rate. In their last game, the rain interruption proved a boon for them as they defeated KKR and secured their second victory. They have a strong bowling attack on paper and they would be banking on their bowlers to restrict the injury-hit MI to a low score.

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. They made two changes to their side, bringing in Jagadeesha Suchith and Vinay Kumar in place of Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya.

Sunrisers Hyderabad also made two changes. Trent Boult and Hanuma Vihari came in for Moises Henriques and Bipul Sharma.
