After chasing down a 200 plus score against Gujarat Lions, Delhi Daredevils' world came crashing down as they hurtled to a 146-run loss against Mumbai Indians. Check out how
Pollard looking dangerous:
The big man has tonked Amit Mishra for four sixes, and is starting to look really ominous for Delhi. Meanwhile, Rohit has fallen to a short ball from Rabada. Thick top edge taken at short fine leg.
Simmons gone after fifty:
He hits Corey Anderson straight to short fine leg. A yard either side and it would have travelled. Nevertheless, it's set Mumbai up for a big score.
Fascinating passage:
Mishra does the job for Delhi, foxing Parthiv with a googly to have him stumped; but Pollard hits him for two sixes in his very next over. One of those two sixes was off the leading edge. Off the leading edge. 80 metres. Insane! Oh yeah, Pollard has walked in at No. 3. Too much happening but that leading-edged six steals the show.
MI rattling along
Feeding on some very erratic pace bowling, the Mumbai Indians openers have raced off to 60/0 at the completion of the powerplay. First it was Simmons who found his stride, and now Parthiv is taking flight too. No surprises that DD opt for the time-out straightaway. They've now got Mishra on.
Getting Started
Lendl Simmons is playing his first game of the season and he is out to open the innings for the Mumbai Indians. He has done a stellar job for this franchise in the past and he would want to hit the straps right away. He has Parthiv Patel for company.
Zaheer is doing what he does the best - open the bowling.

Build Up
