Sri Lanka's limited-overs form further plunged on Thursday (October 26) when they were hammered by an in-form Pakistan in Abu Dhabi. Change in personnel did nothing to help Sri Lanka's cause as their batsmen continued to fail. And now, less than 24 hours after another painful defeat, the visitors will have to pull themselves up in order to turn their fortunes so that they stay alive in the series. Against this strong Pakistani lineup, this will remain a herculean task for the Sri Lankans.

Pakistan's bowlers shone yet again with Hasan Ali continuing to impress. Usman Khan had an outstanding game as well as the visitors barely managed to touch three figures. Pakistan will hope for consistency in their top order though as Fakhar Zaman endured another failure alongside Ahmed Shehzad that forced the hosts to once again rely on the experience of Malik and Hafeez to see them through.
