In pursuit of 190, South Africa lost Reeza Hendricks early but Quinton de Kock led the charge and carried on with his sublime form stroking a 51. Aiden Markram, faf Du Plesis, David Miller and JP Duminy all chipped in with useful knocks which made sure the Proteas hunted the total down comfortably in the end by 6 wickets in 32.5 overs.
It's all over - South Africa win by 6 wickets
David Miller misses his nudge and it pings his pad before rolling to square leg. They sneak in a leg-bye to finish things
Prelude:
Hello and welcome to the fourth ODI between South Africa and Sri Lanka. The hosts haven't put a foot wrong ever since losing the Test series and showed that they are a different kettle of fish in the limited-overs format. They have taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series and are slowly ironing out their flaws ahead of the World Cup. The return of Aiden Markram and JP Duminy should be an additional boost for the hosts; Reeza Hendricks managed to earn a late call-up to the side after Hashim Amla withdrew on compassionate grounds but it seems highly unlikely that Hendricks will be included in the playing XI today.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, are crumbling in all departments. Their patchy run in ODIs continue as they have lost three games so far, something which won't augur well with World Cup around the corner. The visitors will be seeking to salvage some pride in the final two games. As far as the team changes are concerned, Upul Tharanga is set to be back in Kusal Perera's absence. The southpaw was ruled out of the final two ODIs due to a hamstring injury. Anyway, toss and other updates coming up shortly.
